Distribution in Finland

Very common in southern and central Finland, more uncommon in the far north.

Habitat

Humid and relatively open forest, particularly riparian forests, parks, bogs and swamps.

Substrate

On both confers and deciduous trees, especially branches of birch and spruce. Also on steep rock surfaces of partly shaded cliffs and boulders.
